Everything you need to know before getting started, answered simply.
We keep things flexible—so you can work the way you’re already used to.
Option 1: Plug us into your system
Already using Trello, ClickUp, or something similar? Great! We’ll jump into your existing setup. Your dedicated project manager will work right inside your workflow. Just assign tasks as usual, and we’ll keep things moving with regular updates.
Option 2: Use our client portal
Don’t have a setup of your own? No worries—we’ve got a clean, easy-to-use project management tool you can use. Just log in, drop your task in, and track progress from start to finish. You’ll also get email updates along the way.
No matter which option you pick, here’s what you can expect:
- You submit a task
- We confirm it’s in progress
- You get daily updates & a heads-up when it’s done
- You review & give feedback if needed
It’s all built to be fast, flexible, and totally stress-free.
Yep! You can send in as many WordPress tasks as you’d like. We’ll work on them one at a time, in the order you prioritize. Once one is done, we move to the next.
There are no restrictions on the type of task—whether it’s a bug fix, new build, or performance tweak.
Each plan comes with a dedicated amount of daily dev time (listed on our pricing page), so while your task list can be as long as you like, we work through it with focus and quality in mind.
We’ve built this model on fairness—most of our clients are great at pacing things, and if anything ever feels out of balance, we’ll just have an open conversation. Simple as that.
It depends on the size and complexity of the site—but we can give you some ballpark timelines based on past projects:
🗓️ 2 landing pages → ~1 week on our Starter plan
🖥️ 5-page marketing site (using templates/page builders) → ~3 weeks on the Pro plan
⚙️ Custom-designed site with ACF Pro + custom theme → ~3 weeks on the Business plan
Every site goes through internal QA before delivery, which adds a bit of time—but ensures it’s clean and client-ready.
If you’re unsure where your project fits, just send us a brief and we’ll give you a quick estimate.
You can assign almost anything related to WordPress, Design, SEO, PPC, or Shopify (with a few exceptions).
Here’s what’s fair game:
🔧 WordPress: new site builds, bug fixes, customizations, plugin conflicts, speed optimization, theme/plugin updates, migrations, ACF, page builders, and more
🎨 Design: landing page mockups, layout improvements, mobile fixes
🛠️ SEO: on-page fixes, technical SEO cleanup, metadata, indexing issues
📦 Shopify: basic site builds, app integrations, layout changes (no custom app dev)
📈 PPC: landing page setup for ad campaigns
We don’t limit you by task type. Just drop it in, and we’ll let you know if anything falls outside of scope.

We work best with digital agencies, consultants, contractors, and freelancers who need extra firepower on the dev side.
Our ideal partner typically manages 3 or more active clients and wants to:
Save time by offloading WordPress work
Avoid hiring in-house devs
Deliver faster without sacrificing quality
If you’re juggling projects and need a reliable backend team—you’ll love working with us.
It depends on the size of the task—but here’s a quick guide:
✅ Small to medium tasks (like fixes, tweaks, edits) are usually done within 24–48 hours
🧩 Larger tasks or new site builds take longer, depending on complexity
We’ve listed example tasks by size on our pricing page so you can get a better sense of turnaround times. And don’t worry—there’s no task too big. If it’s WordPress, we’ve got it covered.
Unlike most white-label services, we don’t limit you to support or maintenance tasks. You can assign any kind of WordPress work—from full site builds and plugin customizations to data migrations, theme development, ACF, and more.
Our model is truly unlimited (within your plan’s daily hours), and we’re built for agencies that need reliable, flexible delivery—not just quick fixes.
We started as a web agency ourselves, with teams in both Boston and Ahmedabad. After feeling the pressure of hiring, scaling, and managing delivery, we built ExpressWP to give other agencies exactly what we wished we had:
A capable dev team, ready to go, working quietly behind the scenes so you can focus on growth.
Some partners use us as their full dev team, others keep us on the bench for overflow. Either way, we’re built to help you move faster, with less stress.
Absolutely! If you’re managing more sites than your current plan covers, you’re welcome to upgrade anytime.
Got 100+ sites to maintain or support monthly? Just reach out—we’ll tailor a plan that fits your agency’s needs perfectly.
We’re all-in on WordPress—and we’ve worked on just about every type of site you can think of:
Business websites
Marketing sites & landing pages
Membership sites
WooCommerce stores
eLearning & LMS platforms
Custom builds with ACF, CPTs, and more
We’ve handled over 500+ WordPress sites, from simple to seriously complex.
Need help with Shopify? Just reach out to your project manager—we occasionally support Shopify projects based on scope and team availability.
Easy! We’ve created a Project Brief Template that covers everything we need—like client info, page designs, preferred plugins, functionality notes, deadlines, and more. It’s been battle-tested on 100+ projects to keep things smooth from the start.
Once you fill it out, our team will break the project into clear, trackable tasks in your PM dashboard. We’ll start with your top priorities and keep you in the loop with daily updates.
Got an eCommerce build? No problem—we have a separate brief just for WooCommerce projects to make sure we capture all the details right.
Absolutely. WordPress care plans are a big part of how we support our agency partners.
We’ve built dedicated systems to keep your clients’ sites secure, updated, backed up, and running smoothly—so they’re always ready to perform.
You can either:
Use our WP Care Plan service (fully managed by us), or
Loop in your PM and handle ongoing maintenance through your existing dev plan and tools
Either way, we’ve got your back—month after month.
No problem at all. We’re built to handle multi-client workflows.
You can create tasks for each client inside our project management tool and set the priority order—our team will follow your queue and provide daily updates.
Already have your own system? Great! Your dedicated project manager can plug into your tools and workflow so you don’t have to change a thing. We’ll help you stay organized and keep your clients happy.
As many as you need! We don’t limit revisions—we’ll keep refining until you’re happy with the result.
Our goal is 100% satisfaction, and our dev + design team is here to make sure the final delivery feels just right.
We use LastPass to securely manage and share credentials—it’s way safer than emails, DMs, or task comments.
Just share your WordPress admin, FTP, or hosting logins with our secure account: access@expresswp.co
If you’re not using LastPass yet, we’ll guide you through it—super simple and totally worth it for peace of mind.
Yes—we handle all on-page and technical SEO, except for content writing.
We can help with things like:
Metadata setup
Image optimization
Site speed improvements
Schema markup
SEO plugin setup (like RankMath or Yoast)
We’ll also recommend the best tools for your site and make sure everything’s properly configured for performance and visibility.
Our development team is based in India, and we work closely with clients across the USA and UK.
To keep things smooth, you’ll be assigned a Project Manager who works in your time zone—so collaboration feels easy and updates come when you expect them.
Here’s how we schedule our work (Monday to Friday):
🇬🇧 UK Clients: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM GMT
🇺🇸 USA Clients: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Your tasks are handled daily, and you’ll wake up to fresh progress—without needing to manage developers directly.
Absolutely! You can book a call with your dedicated Project Manager anytime to chat through tasks, priorities, or upcoming projects.
We use Zoom for both voice and video calls—so whether you need a quick sync or a deep dive, we’re just one call away.
As soon as you sign up, you’ll get a welcome email within the hour with everything you need to get started— including access to our project management tool.
Within 12 hours, your Account Manager will introduce you to your dedicated Project Manager and invite you to book a quick onboarding call.
From there, you’re ready to start submitting tasks and getting things done! Simple, fast, and stress-free.
Absolutely. We know agency needs change—so we keep things flexible, not locked down.
🔼 Upgrade:
You can upgrade anytime from your dashboard. You’ll be charged a pro-rated amount based on how many days are left in your billing cycle. Your billing date stays the same.
Example: If you’re on the Starter plan and upgrade to Pro halfway through the month, you’ll only pay the difference for the remaining days.
🔽 Downgrade:
You can also downgrade anytime. Instead of a refund, we’ll credit the difference toward your next billing cycle.
Example: If you downgrade on May 7th and your renewal is May 15th, the unused portion will be applied as a discount to your next bill.
Still not sure what fits best? Just ask—we’ll help you find the right plan based on your current workload.
Your credit card will be billed automatically each month based on the plan you’ve selected—on the same date you originally signed up.
Prefer a different method?
We also offer wire transfer options for select plans. Just let us know, and we’ll set it up for you.
We offer a 14-day risk-free period so you can try our service with confidence.
If you decide we’re not the right fit, just let us know within the first 14 days—we’ll issue a full refund, no questions asked.
No lock-ins. No surprises. No stress.
All our plans are month-to-month, so you’re free to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime before your next billing cycle begins.
There are no hidden fees or sneaky overages—what you see on the pricing page is exactly what you get. Simple, transparent, and built to flex with your agency’s needs.
Yes, absolutely!
You’ve got two options:
Sign up for any of our Dev plans, complete your project, and cancel anytime before the next billing cycle.
Or choose a Bucket of Hours package - perfect for one-off projects. It’s valid for a full year, so you can use hours as needed.
No commitments, no pressure - just expert WordPress help when you need it.
We now offer Shopify support as part of our development plans - focused on helping you maintain and enhance your existing store.
Here’s what we can help with:
Content Updates: Products, blog posts, collections, and more
Design Tweaks: Homepage layout changes, banner swaps, minor UX improvements
Liquid Template Customization: Small visual changes to better match your brand
Note: We don’t build Shopify stores from scratch or develop custom apps—but we’re happy to support and polish what you’ve already got running.
If you’re unsure whether your task fits, just ask—we’ll let you know!
We don’t offer 24/7 support, but our tech team is active Monday to Friday during core working hours for both the USA and UK:
🇺🇸 USA Clients: 12:30 AM – 10:30 AM EST
🇬🇧 UK Clients: 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM GMT
If you submit a support ticket outside these hours, don’t worry—our team will jump on it first thing the next business day. We aim to respond quickly and keep your workflow uninterrupted.
Once you’ve signed up for a support plan, we’ll ask you to securely share:
Your WordPress admin credentials
File access (FTP or cPanel) via LastPass
This allows us to safely connect to your site and set up key services like security monitoring, backups, and plugin updates.
If your site includes custom-built plugins, we’ll also ask for a quick heads-up—so we can be extra cautious before making any updates.
Your credentials are stored securely and only accessed by our internal team. We take your trust seriously.
For most routine updates, we apply them directly to the live site—safely and carefully.
However, if your site hasn’t been updated in a long time or there’s a major update (like a big theme, plugin, or WordPress core release), we’ll first test everything on a staging site.
Once you review and approve it, we’ll push the updates live. That way, there are no surprises—and no downtime.
Multisite and multi-network setups aren’t included in our standard Care Plan add-on.
That said, we’re happy to help—you’ll just need to reach out so we can fully understand your setup first. These configurations often require a more custom approach.
Drop us a message at hello@expresswp.co, and we’ll walk you through the next steps for getting your multisite maintained properly.
If you’re on an active Care Plan, your site is continuously monitored using BlogVault’s malware scanner. Our tech team manually reviews any alerts to filter out false positives and catch real threats fast.
If we detect a security issue, it becomes our top priority—jumping ahead of any regular tasks. We aim to respond and begin mitigation immediately during business hours.
In most cases, we can resolve the issue using automated tools. If manual cleanup is needed:
We’ll use your monthly 30-minute allocation for basic manual work
If the infection is more complex, we’ll recommend using your development support hours or upgrading to a plan that includes more cleanup time
We always take a full site backup before making changes, and if anything breaks—we’ll help restore or fix it.
Security is serious. We treat it that way, so you don’t have to stress.
All of your support plans are grouped under one simple monthly subscription.
You’ll be billed on the same date each month, starting from the day you first signed up. The total charge will reflect all active plans you’ve subscribed to.
Need to check your plans? Just head over to the “Manage Subscriptions” section in our project management tool to view or update everything in one place.
Yes! All reports are fully white-labeled with your agency’s logo and name—so they look like they came straight from your team.
Our reports cover key areas like:
Backups
Security
Performance
Uptime monitoring
Perfect for sending to clients and showcasing the value you’re delivering.
Yes—if you’d like, we can provide your clients with access to our white-label project management tool.
They’ll be able to submit tasks and requests directly, without ever seeing or interacting with our team. Everything appears under your agency’s name.
You can choose how visible our task comments are:
Keep our updates private (and copy-paste them to your clients), or
Let clients see progress directly within the portal—it’s totally up to you.
Either way, you stay in full control of the relationship. We’re just quietly working in the background.
Not at all! We can work with any hosting provider.
That said, for sites hosted on AWS, Pantheon, Azure, or Google Cloud, there’s an additional $15/month due to the extra configuration and complexity involved.
Also, while we’ll do our best with any setup, please note:
Shared hosting can limit what we can achieve in terms of speed, security, and performance—so if you’re aiming for top-tier results, we may recommend better hosting options.
We run automatic daily backups of your website—so you’re always covered.
We keep a 90-day backup history, which means you can restore your site to any point in the past three months if needed. Peace of mind, built right in.
Generally, we expect sites to be up to 5GB in size—but if your site is larger, no worries. Just let us know!
As long as it’s fair use, we’re happy to make exceptions at no extra cost. In fact, we already support clients with sites over 6GB.
We also use incremental backups, which means only the changed files are backed up each time—keeping things efficient and reliable without using unnecessary storage.
No—backups are not taken in real time. We run backups on a fixed daily schedule, so your site is safely backed up once every 24 hours.
We don’t directly scan for SQL or JavaScript injections at the code level.
However, we do work at the IP level, which means we use firewall and security tools to block suspicious traffic and known threats before they can reach your site.
For deeper protection like code-level scanning or firewall rules, we can help recommend and configure additional tools based on your site’s setup.
While no one can guarantee 100% protection, we do everything in our power to keep your site safe.
We use tools like:
Firewalls to block malicious traffic
Login protection to prevent brute force attacks
Regular monitoring for suspicious activity
If something ever does go wrong, we’ll be there right away to help investigate, clean it up, and restore your site with backups. Your security is our priority.
Yes! At ExpressWP, we use premium malware scanning via WPRemote.
Your site is automatically scanned every 24 hours
We scan both site files and the database
Need a quick check? You can also request an on-demand scan anytime by submitting a task
We keep a close eye so you don’t have to worry.
We use trusted premium tools like MalCare and the pro version of iThemes Security to protect your site from most known threats and vulnerabilities.
That said, no firewall can catch everything—especially if plugins or themes are outdated. That’s why we strongly recommend keeping your WordPress core, plugins, and themes fully updated at all times (which we handle under our care plans).
Our setup goes a long way in blocking common attacks, and if anything slips through, we’re on it fast.
We back up your entire WordPress site—incrementally and completely—including:
✅ All posts, pages, images, themes, and uploads
✅ Full database (content, settings, configurations)
✅ All core WordPress folders: wp-content, wp-includes, and wp-admin
To keep backups clean and efficient, we exclude:
Temporary cache files
Log files
Backups created by other plugins
These files aren’t needed and can cause issues during restoration, so we leave them out to ensure your site can be restored quickly and safely.
We store a rolling history of backups for the past 90 days. That means you can restore your site to any version from the last three months—whenever you need to.
Every website is different, depending on the number of pages, complexity of the design, third party integrations, custom theme vs. using page builders, and functionalities outside of WordPress core. We have dedicated testers in our team who test work before delivery, which also adds to the timeline. We can only give ballpark estimates from our experience.
You can get two landing pages developed in one week of a starter plan.
Typically a five unique template page website takes 3 weeks on our Pro package.
We aim to keep things simple and fair—but yes, larger or more complex websites may have small additional charges.
Here’s how it works:
Our Care Plan includes up to 40 unique page templates per site.
A “unique page” means a distinct layout or design—not just a different copy on the same template. For example:
A blog article page = 1 unique page
Ten service pages using the same layout = still 1 unique page
We review one version of each unique page after updates to make sure nothing breaks.
Need more? It’s just $5/month for every additional 10 unique pages.
Sites with user logins, orders, memberships, or learning systems typically involve more plugins, custom logic, and QA time.
These sites are audited individually. Based on complexity, we may apply a modest additional fee of $15–$30/month.
HIPAA-compliant websites
WordPress Multisite / Multi-network setups
We’ll always review your site first and let you know if any extra costs apply—no surprises.
In addition to regular maintenance, you get 30 minutes of development time each month as part of your Care Plan. You can use it for small tasks like:
Restoring your site from a backup
Quick copy or content edits
Basic site cleanup
Troubleshooting issues
Fixing minor bugs or errors
It’s a great way to keep your site polished without dipping into your main support hours.
We check for:
Missing or duplicate meta titles & descriptions
Image optimization issues (missing alt tags, large files)
Heading structure problems (H1, H2, etc.)
Broken links
robots.txt misconfigurations
Schema and structured data opportunities
Content structure issues impacting SEO
We analyze:
Site speed & load time bottlenecks
Render-blocking scripts & large assets
Performance issues affecting Google’s Core Web Vitals
Opportunities to improve LCP, FID, and CLS scores
This helps you stay ahead of issues and show measurable improvements to your clients—month after month.
Yes—we’re happy to adapt.
While we have our own proven SOPs and workflows designed for efficiency and quality, we’re also flexible. If your agency has specific processes or tools you’d like us to follow, we’ll make sure our team integrates with your way of working.
Our goal is to blend seamlessly into your systems, not disrupt them.
No problem! If you need more support beyond what’s included in your Care Plan, you can request additional help through our Starter Development Package.
This package gives you access to daily development support, and you can use the time across multiple websites—perfect for agencies managing several client sites.
Full or partial new site builds
Custom theme or plugin tweaks
ACF & custom field setup
Bug fixing & troubleshooting
Speed optimization & performance fixes
Page builder layout fixes (Elementor, Bricks, etc.)

You’ll always have visibility, and the report is ready to share directly with your clients.
We typically use trusted tools and plugins to ensure accurate SEO implementation. Here’s what we work with:
Yoast SEO or RankMath – Depending on what’s already installed, we’ll use one of these for basic SEO setup and configuration
301 Redirection Plugin – For managing redirects properly and preserving link equity
Schema Markup Validator Tool – To test and verify structured data implementation
If you don’t have an SEO plugin installed, we’ll recommend the best one based on your site’s needs—free or paid.
No—we don’t include paid plugins in our service.
If a task requires a premium plugin, we’ll recommend the best option and you can purchase it directly. We’re happy to help with setup and configuration once it’s installed.
We include two types of schema markup as part of your SEO setup:
FAQ Schema – To help your content stand out in search results with collapsible Q&A rich snippets
Note: You’ll need to provide the questions and answers for us to implement this.
Aggregate Rating Schema – To display overall ratings (commonly used for products, services, or reviews)
These help improve visibility in Google search and enhance click-through rates. Let us know if you have additional schema needs—we’re happy to advise!
No, we don’t include Google AdSense or Google Ads setup or management as part of our service.
Our focus is on WordPress development, maintenance, and SEO. However, we’re happy to collaborate with your existing ads team or recommend reliable partners if needed.
